Not in all the Western world, Sylvia, only in the US, because so many doctors are Jewish overthere !

Ok, so there is a gap in my reasoning ... but that's a good thing
by Simon ini was going to post a 'welcome' message for all the new people who may have got a computer for christmas and are making their first forray into the online world.. of course, not many jws are going to be getting a computer or much else for christmas right?.
kinda-strange for me to forget about such a big thing like that eh?!
it's pretty good though to have moved on so that the jw indoctrinated mindset isn't the first thing that springs to mind.. hope you're all having a great christmas and wherever you are in the recovery process that you feel a little bit better today than you did yesterday, more free and relaxed than you did last year and looking forward to your new life in 2011.. there's going to be lots of changes coming for this site hopefully in the next week or so and probably continuing over the next year.

Thank you, Simon, for your good wishes, same to you, your wife and children, and to posters and lurkers on JWN. An obvious sign that I have broken free a bit further from the JW mindset, too, is that I have, quite spontaneously, wished happy end of the year festivities to colleagues at the office. Even my best half, who still attends WE meetings, had such a craving for a somptuous Xmas eve dinner, as if she wanted to write off a lifetime of frustration in this regard, to the amusement of myself and our children.
Thank you a lot for your hard work to keep this site running, and a happy new year to moderators. Special thought for Grace and better health to Snowbird. Hope that Purplesofa, whose posts I've not read for a while, is all right. Greetings to CoCo who polishes such fine pieces of literature, Nancy Drew and all accomplices of Word of the day, Four words at a time, etc.

Grace, happy to read that it all went well for you. Haven't you got a small bip caller around your neck, that when you press it, someone in your neighbourhood, who is atuned to it, is alerted ? many elderly persons living on their own have that appliance in France.

Spanish JW admitted to Foundation for Pluralism and Coexistens".
by InquiryMan ini found this interesting information in the 2010 report on international religious freedom.
the government has taken steps to integrate non-catholic religious groups through the foundation for pluralism and coexistence.
the foundation provides funds to minority and religious groups to promote religious freedom and dialogue.

Here is a link from 2006 which shows that when they see an opportunity to promote their agenda, WTS leaders are not very particular about mingling with marginal organisations under the guise of religious freedom

Ex JW, Fader and 'Conscious Class' Map
by Mickey mouse inhttp://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?hl=en&ie=utf8&msa=0&msid=116388890922269468211.0004938b3329a3f3d0927&ll=54.876607,1.538086&spn=13.940068,39.506836&z=5.
i've created a map in google maps for people to mark their location, you don't have to put your real identity if you don't want to.. you need to sign in with a google account, click the 'edit' button and then drop a marker on your location.
add a photo if you like!.

Any suggestions on where to travel?
by diana netherton ini was thinking of taking about three weeks to a month off to travel in asia.

There was a time, say until early 70s, when you would travel hitch hiking from Europe to Nepal through Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. Want to have a try now ?
